Laying A Foundation for the Future
Even as we celebrate 2023 as our 50th Anniversary of service to Oregon and the entire Pacific Northwest, DoveLewis is also planning for our next 50 years!
Early in 2023, we broke ground for an expansion of our facilities that will more than double our current footprint, allowing us to provide the very best in specialty care, while also expanding our future capacity for emergency and intensive care services.
The new construction is well underway directly across the street from our current hospital and is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2024. Our current capital campaign focuses on a $5 million goal for interior building improvements and equipment (including a state-of-the-art MRI machine); and an additional $2 million campaign to establish an endowment for our Velvet Assistance Fund - ensuring an ongoing stream of financial support for the medical needs of animal family members of low income and houseless families and individuals in our community.
